  • Robyn doctoral candidate in mathematics at Cornell currently working as a researcher at the Mind Research Network's Medical Image Analysis Lab. Her dissertation addresses an open question in the symbolic dynamics of geodesic flows on a class of surfaces whose interest derives, in part, from very clear connections to billiard dynamics on triangular tables. In the past, Robyn has worked on computational models of sensory perception and on techniques for analyzing multi-electrode recordings. She is interested in both in modeling neural activity and in developing new methods to characterize clinically-relevant geometric and dynamical features of fMRI data.
