Judith M. Segall graduated from UNM in 2004 with an interdisciplinary bachelors degree in chemistry and writing with honors. She worked at Sandia National Labs for many years as a student researcher for the Lithium Battery Research and Development, Ceramic Materials, and Organic Materials departments. There she worked on a variety of projects that included multi-nuclear NMR analyses, computational studies, materials science, crystallography, and synthetic inorganic chemistry. She is currently a research associate here at MRN, where she does morphometric analysis using FreeSurfer, and VBM. She is also a member of the automation team. She really likes riding bikes and petting kittens and plans to go to graduate school next year, where she hopes to study networks, disease ecology, and epidemiological methods.
