  • Andrew is interested in developing new methods and algorithms to better understand healthy and diseased brain. Our methods fuse data from different imaging and other modalities to investigate how the whole brain is interconnected between modalities. Our fusion includes combining multiple functional MRI images, structural MRI with functional MRI and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) metrics with psychometric evaluations. We are also studying if genetic factors contribute to differences in brain structure and function that may lead to brain disorder.
Andrew has signal processing and algorithm development experience in numerous fields. He had previously developed algorithms for autonomous cooperative robotics, and for images from the Very Large Array (interferometry) and the Hubble space telescope.
